In John 17:9, in the middle of long prayer Jesus prayed to his Father in heaven before his execution.
He knew what he had yet to endure on the cross and through the verbal abuse of those who did not recognise who He was, so he made a new convent with His Father, officially handing the Pastoral care of his disciples, over to Their mutual father.
Jesus prayed for the people GOD HAD GIVEN HIM, He said in verse 9.
At that time, his main mission was to restore Israel to their father and God.
He needed to offer them salvation before anyone else because of the promises given to Abraham that the nation would be raised up above others if they would obey him.
Only a small number of Jews embraced his teaching and identity initially.
Jesus then prayed for them.
But he goes on to say in this chapter that He also prayed for the whole world.
As the son of God His sphere of authority embraced all people, but we are given specific authority levels.

Ministry/church we are committed to.
It is exhausting and unnecessary to take on a prayer burden specific to everyone in the world.
We are called to whatever level of authority which will be connected to our specific mantles.
We should pray for larger areas as led by God but only as led by God.
The anointing is on our mantles and we need to focus on what they contain.
Pick your battles in the war room, don’t exhaust yourself praying for things God has not told you too.
You will receive double fruit.
