THE HANDS OF GOD

When God created the earth, and universe/s [ new research shows that there are more galaxies and planets than we have previously known ], he used the power of his voice, he commanded things to be and they were so.

Genesis chapters 1-3
But when he wanted to create a person, someone made in his own image, he used his hands!!
Why?, I believe it is because his love flowed through his hands. Babies are responsive to both the voice and the touch of a carer, both need to be given in a loving way for the healthy development of the baby.
While God’s voice of authority caused what scientists like to call the “big bang theory”, but which was, in fact, the voice of God speaking through his megaphone of authority, to cause all the molecules to line up into the patterns which made an ocean, a planet, vegetation, and even animals, but his authority was channeled into loving touch to enable his creation of the human Adam. This caused the forming of the complex human body.

Scientists now tell us that the human body has the same ingredients as the molecules contained in earth.
“Yes, the human body is made up of materials found on the surface
of the ground. Oxygen, being the most abundant element on the
earth’s crust or on the ground, makes up 65 percent of the human
body, and carbon, also abundant on the topsoil of the ground, is
18 percent and hydrogen is 10 percent. The 59 elements found in
the human body are all found on the earth’s crust. This is amazing
because what The Bible says perfectly match the scientific
composition of a human body.

Are humans made up of the same chemical composition of dirt? – Answers”
God used one of the creations he had spoken into being, the dirt in which his vegetation was grown, collected that in His hands, and created Adam with his hands.
He then used his hands to remove a rib from Adam to create a partner perfectly designed to bring him comfort and love, to procreate also in their own images, and in the image of God because their parents were created that way.
Fearfully and wonderfully made indeed. Psalm 137

God then gave his creation mankind, the most precious gift of all after life, a free will. We can serve our creator or resist him, we can rebel against him and his love and his perfect salvation plan, or we can walk and talk with him, walking in his divine will for us and showing others the way.

This obedience, given voluntarily, re activates that which Adam and Eve had originally been given but which they had thrown away, eternal life through committed faith in Jesus Christ’s work of salvation on the cross. That divine exchange of our sinful nature for a renewed spirit, with the power to live in obedience to the teachings of Jesus and the apostles and prophets of the New Testament.

God wants us to use the voice of authority he has given us to declare his word, and speak blessings and where necessary, bind the powers of darkness, but he also wants us to use our hands, to deliver love to others in practical ways, and to lovingly touch those within our love circle, who desire that touch and who receive it in whatever format it Is delivered. This of course is governed by our relationship with that person.

Godly love is always an action, “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son….” John 3:16
Like everything God had made, the enemy of our souls has tried and sometimes succeeded in twisting it into dark and sinful and damaging actions. But remember, being made in Gods’ image means expressing his love in practical ways as well as through positive words.
Gods’ hands have touched your life, in your original generations of Adam and Eve, and all your forefathers, even when they rejected Him, His hands still touched them in love.
His hands still touch your life as you allow Him to. If you acknowledge Jesus as your saviour and Lord AND obey His words in your lifestyle, you know this touch in your daily life. The degree to which you receive his hands determines the degree to which you can feel His touch on your life. Many will say to Him “Lord Lord”, but will in fact not be received into heaven. Matthew 7:21-27

The Christian life is just that, a lifestyle, a daily walking-in-love and obedience lifestyle.
The apostle Paul said “That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection”. He said this at the end of his life, being highly educated and more importantly called and anointed by Jesus, having spread the gospel to the know world, he aspire to know Jesus more.

Philippians 3:10
10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. 12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

So at this time, as the earth and its’ inhabitants reel from disaster to disaster, our love as demonstrated for God and each other will reveal Jesus to those who have not yet seen Him, they will see Him in us through more than our words, but through our actions.

Aspire to be the hand of God to someone. Aspire to know and see and understands Jesus and His ways and to allow his hand on your life.
Position yourself in His divine unconditional love, ask Him for it, only He can download this to you, and then you will stand in the safe place, the hiddenness of God, under His feathers, free from the fear of tomorrow or the stress of today.
