Habakkuk 2:17
Though the figtree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the ivnes,though the product of the olive fails, and the field yields no food, though the flock is cut off fom the folds, and there are no cattle in the stalls. Yet will I rejoice in the Lord, I will exult in the glorous Godof my salvation.
The Lord God is my strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army. He makes my feet like hinds feet, and will make me to walk, not to stand still in terror, but to walk and make spiritual progress upon my high places of trouble suffering or responsibility.
There is a general blocking and slowing down of spiritual and financial and ministry progress that is resting upon the body of Christ. Some are more affected than others. This scripture passage comes from the heart of the prophet Habakkuk, it lists every area of blockage, fruiit trees not blossoming, so therefore not fruit as fruit comes after blossoming. The product of the olive, the oil which is and was used in many ways for food and health preparations, symbolic of the Holy Spirit failing. The Holy Spirit does not fail but our lives can fail to produce the result of his presence because of blockages in our mind emotions and ministry. In times of war, the enemy tries to block the supply and the communication processes of the enemy they fight.
When an army runs out of food for their troops, or weapons or ammunition, they can be totally defeated. This was a major factor in the defeat of the southern confederacy during the civil war of the now United States of America.
When the army runs out of finance, they can’t re-purchase necessary supplies.
