Don’t throw away your confidence!!!!

Don’t throw away your confidence!!!!

HOLD ON TO YOUR CONFIDENCE-DON’T CAST IT AWAY

February 2020

Your assurance security and trust in God, is vital as never before

Have you thrown your Confidence away?

WHAT HAPPENED TO MAKE YOU THROW IT AWAY?

  1. “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.” (Hebrews 10:35 NKJV)

Cast it-with strength and emphasis

Your personal confidence will feel unusually challenged in this season.

Go back to where you gave it away, cast it away or dropped it and take it back!!!!!! Pick it up by thanking God for the answers to your prayers and problems. Own that confidence again

Your confidence, rooted and grounded in Christ and His word, holds great reward!  Hebrews 10:35, Genesis 15:11, Colossians 3:24

Do not place your confidence in men, or your own strength

Jeremiah 17:5-9

5 Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. 6 For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. 7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Hold onto hope by looking to Jesus and His promises.-hope means  [anticipation]

When we hope in man or in other natural supports, that which we hope for can let us down. Proverbs 13::12, written by the wisest man who ever lived, king Solomon, tells us that hope which is deferred makes the heart sick.

Disappointment can break our hearts, but when we receive what we hope for, it creates a tree of life in our lives and strengthens our soul so that we can bear the fruit of the spirit which will feed others.

Hoping only in God no matter what natural circumstances look like, keeps our hearts strong while we wait for the answers we need, and when disappointment comes, we can bear it with the strength that Jesus gives us when he says

“Come unto me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you strength. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls”                   Matthew 11:28

So get up, or ARISE is the Bible term! Shake off the disappointments; shake off the things the enemy is trying to do. Don’t stay back in the former times of your life. Don’t dwell on, think about, rehearse or repeat past mistakes, failures and disappointments.

In order to rise again from the ashes of life, we may need to;

Process your grief

Clothe yourself with Gods’ joy and strength – Ask God to clothe you like Gideon, with his anointing. Judges chapter 6 tells the story of his arising from hiding in a winepress fearfully grinding some corn so he could eat, to overthrowing his family altar to the demon god Baal and setting his generation free from idol worship, including his father. Not to mention setting Israel free.

God clothed Gideon with himself like a garment  Judges 3:34

EXCHANGE YOUR WEAKNESS FOR GODS’ STRENGTH

The clothing of God releases you from your own weaknesses

God is then glorified in your weakness when you use his strength

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and [a]show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may [b]pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

RECEIVE THE JOY-Joy of THE LORD which is your strength,

DON’T QUIT BEFORE THE FULLNESS OF TIME

The longer you have to wait for the vision, the more inclined you are to settle for less.

We settle for less because we cast away, throw away, our confidence in Gods’ promises, whether specific to us personally or general through  the Bible. Some promises are given to us through personal prophecy, some through general prophecy which my be preached or posted on line, so are scripture verses quickened to us and some are revealed to us through hearing Gods’ voice to us personally.

Write the vision LARGE because even though it tarries, wait for it and it will come.

There is an appointed time for all Gods’ promises, keep hope alive in your heart until the appointed time. Hope is a function of our souls, our mind, will and emotions, when we throw hope away, these are the areas which are affected.

If we maintain our souls in a place of hope through the Christian disciplines of bible reading, obedience to the word, proclaiming the promises and thanking God for them, our spirits will arise in FAITH, because they are not squashed down by the negative thought, emotions and actions of our hopeless souls.

Hopelessness leads to depression and even suicide or other causes of death, because the Bible says” “The strong spirit of a man can sustain his infirmity, but    a wounded spirit who can bear                           Proverbs 18:14
